The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar recruitment for 2024. Here are the key details you need to know:
Important Dates
- Notification Release Date: 27th June 2024
- Application Start Date: 27th June 2024
- Application End Date: 31st July 2024
- Exam Dates: October to November 2024
Application Process
Candidates can apply online through the official SSC website ssc.gov.in. Follow these steps to complete the application:
- Visit the SSC website.
- Click on the “Login/ Register” button.
- Register if you are a new user or log in if you already have an account.
- Fill out the application form with the required details.
- Pay the application fee (Rs. 100 for General/OBC/EWS; no fee for SC/ST/PWD).
- Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th grade (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
- Age Limit:
- 18-25 years for some posts.
- 18-27 years for other posts.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): An objective type, multiple-choice exam conducted online.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST): Only for the Havaldar posts.
Exam Pattern
The CBT is divided into two sessions:
- Session I: No negative marking.
- Session II: One mark deducted for each wrong answer. The test will be available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages.
Vacancies
The total number of vacancies for the SSC MTS and Havaldar posts will be announced soon. The vacancies are distributed across different categories and states.
Salary
Selected candidates will be placed at Pay Level 1 of the 7th Pay Commission, with a base salary ranging from Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,200 and a Grade Pay of Rs. 1,800.
