Position:
The job position available is for the role of Payroll Analyst.
Location: Work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Process Payroll: Work closely with the Senior Payroll Analyst to handle payroll processing, which occurs every two weeks using the Workday Payroll/HCM system. This ensures that employees get paid accurately and on time.
- Audit Payroll Files: Help in reviewing payroll files both before and after processing to make sure everything is accurate and in order.
- Handle Canadian Payroll: Process payroll specifically for our Canadian employees, ensuring they receive their correct payments.
- Data Management: Provide payroll data and upload it to a third-party platform for further processing.
- Stay Informed: Keep yourself updated on the rules and practices related to payroll to ensure compliance.
- Government Reporting: Prepare reports for government agencies and tax authorities, as required. You’ll also respond to inquiries and requests from audit and tax agencies.
- Problem Solving: Research and resolve any issues or questions related to payroll by gathering and analyzing information. If there are recurring problems, escalate them to your manager and provide solutions..
- Year-End Audit: Prepare for the year-end audit, which includes W2 forms.
Required knowledge and skills:
- Familiarity with Workday HCM/Payroll and third-party OSV systems
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-driven and motivated
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience in researching payroll tax matters
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree
Educational Qualifications – Candidates should have at least completed their graduate degree.
Salary Details:
The expected salary range for this position is between 4 to 8 lakhs per annum.
Age Limit:
To be eligible, candidates must be a minimum of 18 years old.
Selection Process:
The selection process for this position is interview-based, and only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.
