Job Description: Media Data Analyst

Locus Elite is seeking a Media Data Analyst to join our team in Hyderabad, India. This position is geared towards recent graduates or professionals with 1-3 years of experience, preferably from reputed colleges, who are eager to dive into the world of technology and media intelligence. As a Media Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in turning vast amounts of media data into insightful, actionable intelligence. This role involves leveraging both external media sources and the company’s own tools and applications, along with sophisticated data analysis and visualization tools, including Excel, to drive strategic decisions.

Roles and Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and interpret data from a variety of media sources as well as the company’s proprietary tools and applications to provide actionable intelligence.

Employ advanced data analysis and visualization tools, including Excel and other industry-standard software, to monitor trends, sentiments, and media coverage effectively.

Collaborate with our technology team to enhance data collection and analysis methods, ensuring high accuracy and relevance of the intelligence gathered.

Prepare comprehensive reports and visual presentations that clearly communicate findings to internal stakeholders and clients.

Provide insights that contribute to the continuous improvement of our media monitoring tools through innovative ideas and feedback.

Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in media, technology, analytics, and data visualization tools to continually enhance the analytical capabilities of the team.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputed institution.
• Fresh graduates or professionals with 1-3 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) for analyzing large datasets and creating insightful reports.
