Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing Invoices: Carefully examine invoices to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
- Vendor Payment Management: Keep track of all vendor payments and expenses.
- Clarifying Invoice Items: Address any uncertainties or discrepancies in invoice items.
- Obtaining Information: Gather necessary information and data related to invoice payments.
- Calculating Totals: Verify and calculate all amounts on invoices, including discounts where applicable.
- Payment Approval: Review invoices and requisitions to ensure proper payment approval.
- Receipt Reconciliation: Match receipts with vendor payments to ensure accuracy.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain records of vendors and aging accounts.
- Monthly Reporting: Prepare monthly reports and analyses of accounts.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to enhance financial processes.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Any graduation degree.
- Skills: Knowledge of accounts payable, reconciliation, and vendor and aging management. Touch typing speed of at least 50 WPM with accuracy exceeding 95%. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Analytical and critical thinking abilities. Excellent proficiency in Excel.
