Anticipated Notification Release
The notification for IFSCA Grade A Recruitment 2024 is expected to be released between April and June 2024. Last year, a similar timeline was observed, with the official advertisement being released in February 2023.
Vacancy Details
Approximately 100 vacancies are expected to be available for Grade A (Assistant Manager) positions across various categories. Last year, 20 vacancies were officially announced, with details provided for reservation quotas as follows:
- General: 10
- Other Backward Class: 5
- Schedule Caste: 3
- Schedule Tribes: 1
- Economically Weaker Section: 1
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Grade A (Assistant Manager) position at IFSCA, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Law, or any other recognized field.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years old. There will be upper age relaxation of 3 and 5 years for OBC and SC/ST candidates, respectively.
Application Fee
Candidates applying for the Grade A recruitment at IFSCA are required to pay an application fee based on their category. General, OBC, and EWS candidates need to pay ₹1000, while SC and ST candidates need to pay ₹100.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of three stages:
- Preliminary Examination:
- Mode: Online
- Duration: 60 minutes for each paper
- Sections: General topics (Paper 1) and Financial topics (Paper 2)
- Marking: Negative marking applies, with 1/4th deduction for each incorrect answer
- Medium: English
- Mains Examination:
- Mode: Online
- Duration: 60 minutes for each paper
- Sections: Descriptive English (Paper 1) and Financial topics (Paper 2)
- Marking: Negative marking applies for Paper 2, with 1/4th deduction for each incorrect answer
- Medium: English
- Interview:
- Mode: Face-to-face
- Medium: English
- Weightage: 85% for Mains and 15% for Interview in the final selection process.
