Associate Manager-Acquisition (Corporate Salary)

Function/ Department:

Branch Banking

Job Purpose:

The role involves direct customer interaction and focuses on acquiring corporate salary accounts within a designated geography. This includes explaining and selling banking products to customers, acting as a liaison between customers and the bank, and ensuring top-notch service. The role also supports the Sales Manager in tasks such as catchment mapping, customer feedback, and identifying potential opportunities. The key responsibilities include client acquisition, deepening customer relationships, and maximizing lifetime value to achieve organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Acquisition of Corporate Salary Accounts:
    • Acquire new corporate salary account customers in the identified segment and generate references from the specified catchment area.
    • Ensure acquisition of high-quality corporate salary accounts regarding constitution, segments, and product mix.
  • Account Activation and Funding:
    • Register, activate, and fund the accounts within 3 months of opening.
    • Engage customers with multiple products at the time of account opening (e.g., Mobile banking, Net banking registration, RD-FD activation).
  • Target Achievement:
    • Meet and exceed defined targets for new customer acquisitions monthly by analyzing transaction banking needs of the customers.
  • Support Sales Manager:
    • Assist and support the Sales Manager in catchment mapping and scoping exercises.
    • Provide regular feedback to the Sales Manager on opportunities and customer needs.
  • Compliance and Quality:
    • Ensure adherence to selling norms, account opening formalities, and KYC norms.
    • Ensure strict compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
    • Ensure quality sourcing in line with the bank’s policy.
  • Lead Generation and Customer Engagement:
    • Prepare a wish list of customers through promotional activities.
    • Generate leads for family accounts and other cross-sell products.
    • Proactively resolve customer queries.

Education Qualification:

  • Graduation: Any Graduate

Experience:

  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience
