Job Description Summary
Provide customer support to consumers via telephone and/or Internet, such as instant messaging and email. Handle customer inquiries and resolve simple and basic support issues, including address changes, order processing, and warranty or billing/payment questions. For product or service-related issues, escalate the customer to the appropriate Product Support Specialist.
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Primary Contact: Provide customer support by phone, email, or instant message to consumers. Serve as the primary contact for inbound customer issues and escalate more technical product-related issues to the proper Product Support department.
- Inquiry Processing: Handle a high volume of consumer inquiries about FIS products and services, resolving a targeted percentage of those inquiries.
- Troubleshooting: Identify root causes of customer problems and use appropriate tools and resources to resolve issues.
- Customer Information: Update customer information and ensure accurate entry of contact details.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED

- Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
