Job Description

Role: Extractor of Relevant Information on Activities, Events, and Topics

As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for extracting pertinent information regarding activities, events, and topics related to points of interest (POIs) and businesses. This role requires adherence to provided training and policy guidelines while managing process metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Thorough Research: Conduct comprehensive secondary research to understand various resources for extracting information related to activities and events of given businesses.
• User Review Analysis: Analyze user reviews to identify activities feasible for the respective points of interest or place topics.
• Image and Video Reference: Utilize images and videos to extract activities relevant to place topics.
• Activity Evaluation: Evaluate activities and events, categorizing them into different buckets as per instructions.
• Relevance Identification: Identify relevant and irrelevant aspects related to business category, reviews, queries, etc., essential for comparing and rating a place.
• Timely Task Completion: Ensure completion of allotted tasks within defined SLA/TAT timeframes.
• Independent Work: Demonstrate the ability to work independently, understanding individual performance metrics for continuous improvement opportunities.

Skills Required

• Communication: Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mandatory Competency: Proficiency in English comprehension with logical ability and data interpretation.
• Reading and Comprehension: Ability to read and comprehend given content, establishing context with assigned tasks.
• Research Skills: Proficient in conducting thorough research using Google platforms on various pages related to evaluated POIs. This includes identifying credible sources, evaluating quality, and summarizing complex information effectively.
• General Awareness: Awareness of consumer services such as food & beverages, restaurants, leisure activities, lifestyle, and entertainment domains.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to work in different shifts and locales based on business requirements.
• General Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, proficiency in computer usage, and familiarity with MS Office/equivalent platforms.
