The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is preparing to release the notification for the recruitment of Assistant Station Masters (ASM) and Station masters in 2024. The notification is anticipated around july 2024, with an estimated 3,000 vacancies expected to be announced across various regions of Indian Railways​

1. Eligibility Criteria:
   • Age Limit: 18 to 36 years, with age relaxations for OBC, SC/ST, and candidates from specific regions​
   • Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university​)​.
2. Exam Pattern:
   • CBT 1:
     • Mathematics: 30 questions
     • General Awareness: 40 questions
     • General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 questions
   • Duration: 90 minutes​
   • CBT 2:
     • Mathematics: 35 questions
     • General Awareness: 50 questions
     • General Intelligence & Reasoning: 35 questions
   • Total: 120 questions​
3. CBAT: Further assessment for shortlisted candidates, followed by document verification​
4. Application Process:
   • The application will be conducted online through the official RRB websites once the notification is released.
5. Candidates will need to fill in their details, upload necessary documents, and pay the application fee online​
6. Application Fees:
   • General Category: ₹500
   • SC/ST/PH/Ex-servicemen: ₹250
   • Economically Backward Classes (EWS)/Minority: ₹250 (refundable)​
