- Work Experience: The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in any government or private sector organization in the relevant field for DEPR and DSIM.
The selection process for the RBI Grade B Exam 2023 consists of three phases – Phase I (Preliminary Exam), Phase II (Main Exam) and Interview. The Phase I exam will be an objective type exam with questions from General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. The Phase II exam will consist of both objective and descriptive questions from subjects like Economic and Social Issues, English (Writing Skills), and Finance and Management.
Candidates who qualify for the Phase II exam will be called for an interview. The final selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the Phase II exam and the interview.
Pay Scale: Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹55,200/-p.m. in the pay scale of
₹55200-2850(9)-80850-EB-2850 (2) – 86550-3300(4)-99750 (16 years) applicable to Officers in
Grade B and they will also be eligible for Special Allowance, Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance,
Local Compensatory Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, Learning Allowance, House Rent
Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments (without
HRA) are Rs. 1,16,914/- (approximately) The House Rent Allowance of 15% of Basic Pay will be paid,
if accommodation is not provided by the Bank..
